PURPOSE:To obtain a thermal transfer image receiving sheet excellent in antistatic properties and generating no blocking or lap-feed by laminating an antistatic agent layer, an ink receiving layer, a base material sheet and a slip/ antistatic agent layer in this order. CONSTITUTION:A thermal transfer image receiving layer is formed by laminating an antistatic agent layer 3, an ink receiving layer 2, a base material sheet 1 and a slip/antistatic agent layer 4 in this order. The ink receiving layer 2 is formed from a proper resin and a proper filler. A pref. resin has good adhesiveness to wax type ink. When an antistatic agent such as a quaternary ammonium salt is added to a coating solution when the ink receiving layer 2 is formed on the base material sheet 1, the antistatic agent bleeds to the surface of the ink receiving layer to form the antistatic agent layer 3. Further, the slip/ antistatic agent layer 4 is formed to the rear of the base material sheet being the opposite surface of the ink receiving layer 2 to set the dynamic coefficient of friction of the rear of the sheet and the surface of the ink receiving layer to 0.4 or less. |
