PURPOSE: To suppress rubbing of an ink pattern to a minimum by disposing an outer surface of a blanket in a roll engaging state with a transfer surface of a plate cylinder at a nip, and performing rolling engagement of an outer circumferential surface of the blanket continuously without nip between an ink transfer surface and the blanket on the cylinder. CONSTITUTION: A blanket 18 has a continuous cylindrical outer surface 40 without gap. Accordingly, a rolling engagement of the blanket 18 with a cylindrical outer surface 42 of a printing plate on a plate cylinder 22. Further, the blanket 18 is manufactured compressibly by a nip 26 to prevent rubbing of an ink pattern. |
