An auxiliary toilet seat assembly operable by physically impaired users is provided. The toilet seat assembly is constructed as an inflatable, angularly elevatable, substantially U-shaped balloon member (10) and a user operable associated apparatus (15) for inlating and deflating the balloon (10). The upper face (9) of the balloon (10) is angularly adjustable to move, upon inflation and deflation of the balloon (10), from a substantially horizontal plane to an inclined ramp for assisting user movements in mounting and dismounting from a conventional toilet bowl. An optional user support member (17) or balloon housing which includes a user support member (17) is also provided. |
