<p>PURPOSE:To maintain the optimum iron-component concentration and to perform a good rolling work by measuring the grain size of Fe component in a rolling oil, finding the iron-component concentration in the rolling oil based on the correlation of a known rolling oil and iron-component concentration, thereby controlling the iron-component concentration in the rolling oil. CONSTITUTION:A rolling oil 4A in a dirty tank 3 is fed to a clean tank 2 after a part of the iron-component is removed at the course passing through a primary filter 5. A rolling oil 4B is fed to the work roll 13 of a rolling oil 12 again via a cooler 11 after the iron-component concentration is adjusted to the optimum concentration at the clean tank 2 part mainly. The rolling oil 4B fed to the clean tank 2 via the filter 5 is measured at its grain size by a grain size measuring instrument 6 and the measurement data thereof is fed to a computor 7. The iron density of the rolling oil 4B is calculated in the computor 7, the iron removal processing quantity is calculated by receiving the instruction of an correct iron-component concentration fed from a host computor 8 and the opening of a flow adjusting valve 9 is adjusted. Consequently the processing quantity of an iron-component removing filter 10 is adjusted and it can be maintained in the optimum iron-component concentration.</p> |
