<p>PURPOSE: To improve striking characteristics by disposing a sight part vertical to a target projectile path of an upper part of a top ridge between the heal and the toe of the club surface parallel to the longitudinal axis and adjacent to the toe part. CONSTITUTION: A top ridge 23 of a club head has a part 24 adjacent to a heel 18 extended upward to the outside toward a toe 20 up to a portion 25, and turned at the portion 25 to form a sight part 26 horizontally extended vertically to a projectile path. The projectile part 26 is continued from the portion in the longitudinal direction toward the toe 20 of the club head, and located above the ball striking surface 14 to form a flat area extended to the middle portion 25 of the width. The sight part 26 shifts a part 42 of a weight member 40 to a lower position, so that the whole of the weight is further lowered and moved to a position near the center of striking. Thus, weighing characteristics and ball striking characteristics can be improved.</p> |
