摘要 PURPOSE:To rapidly eliminate unstable behavior of a vehicle by providing an acceleration deceleration detecting means to detect rotation acceleration deceleration of wheels and a steering amount increase correcting means to increase a target steering amount by changing a computing factor when rotation acceleration deceleration detected by the detecting means exceeds a given range. CONSTITUTION:When rear wheels are steering by a rear wheel steering mechanism 1, the deflecting state of a vehicle is detected by a deflecting state detecting means 2, and a rear wheel steering control means 3 decides a target steering amount of rear wheels responding to a deflecting state so that the rear wheels are steered in a direction, in which the deflection state is erased, based on the detecting deflecing state and a given computing factor, end controls the rear wheel steering mechanism 1 so that a steering amount of the rear wheels is adjusted to a decided target steering amount. In this case, an acceleration deceleration detecting means 4 detects rotation acceleration deceleration of wheels. A steering amount increase correcting means 5 increases the target steering amount by changing the computing factor when detecting rotation acceleration deceleration exceeds a given range.
