PURPOSE:To obtain a soil conditioner which can be stabilized in soil by using as the active ingredient a microorganism having an antibacterial activity against molds and bacteria. CONSTITUTION:A soil conditioner containing as the active ingredient a microorganism having an antibacterial activity against molds and bacteria, especially one of FERM-P10825, FERM-P11178, and FERM-P11179. At least one of them is added to a carrier such as Okinawa limestone, a concentrated compost consisting mainly of waste paper and pulp fibers, a base material comprising a mixture of Okinawa limestone with waster paper and pulp fibers, an inorganic material such as zeolite or Oya tuff, an organic material such as rice bran, oil cake or peat moss, or charcoal such as bark charcoal or rice hull charcoal and is stabilized, thus giving a soil conditioner which can be stabilized in soil. |
