PURPOSE:To provide a food-coating agent not giving a feeling of unrest to consumers as a food additive, free from a different taste or odor, not having granular touch when eaten, not scattered and having good dispersibility by employing rice starch. CONSTITUTION:Rice starch is employed as a coating agent or dusting agent for chewing gums, chocolates, etc. The rice starch includes nonglutinous rice starch, glutinous rice starch, a mixture thereof and a chemically or physically treated product thereof. |
