Remotely controlled device for diverting telephone calls intended for a subscriber, including two separate telephone lines (L1 and L2), arriving at the subscriber's installation, one (L1) of which corresponds to the usual telephone number for this subscriber and is provided for calling the national transfer service (TAN) or cancelling it, and the other (L2) is a specialised incoming or combined line, preferably with a confidential telephone number, intended for receiving orders for programming or cancelling diversion numbers. According to the invention, this device is characterised in that it includes a circuit (5) for connection between the two lines of the installation in order to carry out relaying, from the second to the first, of the diversion numbers for the latter or for an order for cancelling a previously programmed number, this connection circuit being adapted, in the course of an operating cycle of given duration, for detecting the presence of a call on the second line (L2), to pick up the first line (L1), to link the two lines (L1, L2) together, to receive the tones inviting programming of the diversion number from the station calling on the second line in accordance with the procedure for putting the TAN into service, then to verify the recording by the TAN called by the first line (L1) of the number thus programmed, and finally to free the two lines on expiry of a predetermined period of time. <IMAGE>
