PURPOSE:To bring band-shape microorganism carriers into contact with each other and to prevent the peeling of microorganisms by forming a microorganism carrier fixing member of pipe mounting parts which can be mounted to pipes for fixing and carrier holding parts which can hold microorganism carriers. CONSTITUTION:The top ends and bottom ends of the band-shaped microorganism carriers 2 are held by the carrier holding parts 11 of the microorganism carrier fixing member 1. Further, the pipe mounting parts 10 of the microorganism carrier fixing material 1 are mounted to upper fixing pipes 5 and lower fixing pipes 6 which are respectively fixed at the upper part of the waste water treating tank and in the waste water treating tank, by which the band-shaped biocarriers are installed. The mounting and dismounting of the microorganism carriers 2 and the adjustment of the spacings and length of the respective band- shaped microorganism carriers 2 are easy if such microorganism carrier fixing material 1 is sued. The collision of the band-shaped microorganism carriers 2 with each other by the reflux of the liquid in the waste water treating tank is prevented.
