PURPOSE:To transfer massive fault information for a short time by storing fault information in the free area of a memory, dividing the stored data into packets, using a logical channel up to a fault information reception terminal equipment and transferring the fault information divided into packets. CONSTITUTION:When a fault occurs in a stored program control exchange (SPC) 1, fault information is saved in the free fault save area of a memory and a logical channel is set between the SPC 1 and a fault information reception storage terminal equipment (TRM) 4 for fault information reception storage of a center 5 with a virtual call via a packet communication network (PNW) 2 and an SPC 3. Then the fault information saved in the fault information save area in the SPC 1 is divided into packets and saved in a packet exchange packet save area 6 and the fault information processed into packets is transferred to the TRM 4 of the center 5 via the PNW 2. Thus, massive fault information is transferred in a short time.
