It is known to make use for offices, exhibition stand construction, educational purposes, shop fittings, museums and the like of modular components, using a space which can be arranged in a desired manner, for instance with light partition walls. The invention now provides a modular interior construction system based on a cable duct system having at least three cable ducts, each comprising a bearing skeleton with duct shells releasably attached thereto each of which forms with a bearing skeleton portion a cable compartment, which cable ducts are connected to a cable duct junction, comprising a junction core having for each connected cable duct a partition which blocks wholly or partially the passage of a number of cable duct compartments, and shells releasably attached to the junction core whereby at least two channel systems are created which mutually connect the open passages of corresponding cable compartments of connected cable ducts. |
