<p>A stereoscopic television device comprises at least one colour or black-and-white electron-ray tube (ERT) (1) whose screen is optically connected, through a controlled polarizer (2) with a movable boundary (6) between two zones of different polarization, to polaroid spectacles (5), the multibeam ERT (1) being provided with a unit for angular deviation of the electron beams towards the two zones of the controlled polarizer (2). Since the frame scanning speed of all beams coincides with the movement speed of the boundary (6), the left and right images are reproduced simultaneously on the screen of one and the same ERT (1) and, being characterized by different light polarization state, are separated into different viewing glasses of the polaroid spectacles (5). The device comprises a video signal commutator (8), a receiving television unit (10) and an electro-optical transparency controlling unit (11).</p> |
