<p>A comb comprises a body from which depends a set of comb teeth and a gripping handle extending from one end of the body, characterised in that the body (D, 30, 53) incorporates a cutting implement (22, 36, 62) which can be moved by means of a driving device (24, 40) along a path (X) from a home position (Y) across teeth (C, 32, 51) to an extended position (Z) to cut hair or hair like material positioned between the teeth. In one embodiment the cutting implement is displaced over a cutting distance comparable with one pitch length of the comb teeth. In another embodiment the cutting distance is comparable with the length of the comb.</p> |
