PURPOSE:To improve heat resistance and fire resistance, and to facilitate extrusion process by forming an insulated wire used for the peripheral part of the engine of an automobile or for a cabinet of television and the like, with polyolefine, flame retarder, antioxidant, and of specified heavy metal deactivator, and so on, weight parts of which these materials are required. CONSTITUTION:To 100 weight parts of polyolefine, 20-200 weight parts of flame retarder, respective 2-15 weight parts of hindered phenol-antioxidant, and thioether antioxidant, heavy metal deactivator expressed by an expression of 1-15 weight parts, 0.5-10 weight parts of barium stearate and/or strontium stearate, are mixed together, so as to cover a conductor with this composition. As the polyolefine, polyethylene, polypropylene, and so on, are used, while, as the fire retarder, decapromo-diphenyl ether, or chlorine-fire retarder is used, and, as the antioxidant, hindered phenol or ether compound is used. The heavy metal deactivator is a material expressed by an expression, and extrusion thereof is improved through the use of barium and strontium. |
