AMINATION OF DIHYDRIC PHENOLS

摘要

PURPOSE:To aminate a dihydric phenol in high activity and selectivity while inhibiting the by-production of tar-like products, by reacting a dihydric phenol with ammonia in a specific molar ratio in the presence of a phenol and a metal phosphate salt. CONSTITUTION:When a dihydric phenol is reacted with ammonia to prepare the corresponding aminophenol and phenylenediamine, the reaction is performed in an ammonia/dihydric phenol molar ratio of >=25 in the presence of a phenol and a metal phosphate to aminate the dihydric phenol. The method permits to suppresses the production of by-products and progress the reaction without losing the dihydric phenol.
