PURPOSE:To allow always stable electrostatic application and to allow the outputting of good images over a long period of time by removing the residual toner remaining in a brush-shaped carrying roller by a spray nozzle. CONSTITUTION:An electrified color developer 32 flits in the alternating electric field formed between the installed carrying roller 34 and an electrode roller 22 and sticks onto a base 21. The color developer 32 which does not flit at this time exists as the residual toner 44 in the carrying roller 34. The roller 34 rotates further and the residual toner 44 is blown off and removed by the positive pressure generated by the rotation of a fan 43 in a cleaning unit 40 when the toner approaches an ejection port 41. The removed residual toner 44 is utilized again for electrostatic coating in a toner case 31. The always stable electrostatic coating is executed in this way and the good image output is obtd. in the final. |
