PURPOSE:To attain normal print even when a 2nd picture is received during print by providing a reception data memory storing a coded picture element data at once before the coded picture data after demodulation is decoded and written in a picture memory. CONSTITUTION:A reception data memory 7 is provided, which stores at once a received coded picture element data as it is without decoding. Then a demodulator 6 demodulates a 2nd picture data even when a recorder 10 is in the recording state and the coded data as it is being stored and when the recording of a 1st picture is finished, a decoder 8 reads the 2nd picture data stored in the reception data memory 7 as the coded data, starts the decoding of the coded data and when the decoding of the 2nd picture is finished, the decoded picture is started for recording in the recorder 10. Thus, the 2nd picture is also normally recorded. |
