PURPOSE:To avoid the early deterioration in peaking capacitors due to any gas laser medium even if the peaking capacitors are arranged in the laser tube by a method wherein a pair of containing parts whose one side containing a peaking capacitor is opened to either one of holders are formed. CONSTITUTION:An upper holder 24 is composed of an upper part plate 24a, a lower part plate 24b opposingly in parallel with the upper part plate 24a and a partition 24c connecting the upper and lower plates 24a, 24b halfway in the width direction of these two plates 24a, 24b taking almost H shape in section as well as a pair of containing parts 26 formed to be released on both sides in the width direction while a cathode 22 is junction-fixed on the rear surface of the lower part plate 24b. On the other hand, multiple peaking capacitors 27 are contained in respective containing parts 26 while the opening surfaces of the containing parts 26 are gas tightly sealed by a cover body 31. Through these procedures, the chemical reaction of the peaking capacitors 27 to any gas laser medium can be avoided thereby enabling the early deterioration in the gas laser medium as well as the early deterioration in the performances of the peaking capacitors 27 to be avoided. |
