Described is a suspension wire (1) whose upper end section (3) is moulded on to the remainder (central section 2) of the wire, the central section being linear and unthreaded. The upper end section (3) is flared towards the extreme end (4), and is preferably wedge-shaped in longitudinal section, the length of the upper end section (1) measured along a diagonal being greater than the diameter of the suspension wire (1). Lying against the surface (5) of the upper end section (3) is the upper edge (15) of an expanding dowel (6) which surrounds the upper end section (3) and the adjacent central section (2). |
