The input time data is saved on a time buffer when the input data is effective and the input data is counted by time interrupt signals to increase the buffer. The counting data is accessed periodically and saved on a time boundary buffer so that, when the time data of the baundary buffer is not effective, the timer is initialized by the data saved on the time buffer to recover the timer. The circuit includes a ROM (40) for recording programs to operate the facsimile and for transmitting the data by a control signal transmitted by a MPU (10), a RAM (50) for accessing the necessary data, an I/O port (60) for inputting/outputting the signal of the MPU, and a timer chip (70) for transmitting the time data.
