5-Substituted 1,3,4-thiadiazole derivatives of general formula I wherein R1 is C1-14-alkyl, C3-6-cycloalkyl or C3-6-cycloalkylmethyl, and R2 is C1-12-alkyl, C2-12-alkenyl, C2-12-alkynyl, C3-6-cycloalkyl or C3-6-cycloalkylmethyl, each of which is substituted one or more times by the same or different halogen, processes for their preparation and their use as pesticides, especially against nematodes.
