<p>PURPOSE:To apply printing having a beautiful and sharp color to the surface of a magnetic card on the side of the magnetic layer thereof by forming a metal vapor deposition layer on the magnetic layer of the magnetic card directly or through an anchor coat layer and forming a color layer on the metal vapor deposition layer directly or through a top coat layer and specifying the thicknesses of both of the metal vapor deposition layer and the color layer. CONSTITUTION:A metal vapor deposition layer is formed on the magnetic layer of a magnetic card equipped with a base material and the magnetic layer formed to the single surface thereof directly or through an anchor coat layer and a color layer having a non-black type color is formed on the metal vapor deposition layer directly or through a top coat layer and the whole thickness of the metal vapor deposition layer and the color layer (thickness containing the anchor coat layer and the top coat layer when both layers are present) is 6mum or less. The magnetic layer can be formed by using a composition prepared by mixing an appropriate magnetic powder such as gamma-iron oxide with an appropriate resin such as an urethane resin. The metal vapor deposition layer is formed from Al, Ag, Zn or Sn and may be formed from Cu or Au according to the color layer. The color layer having the non-black type color can be formed from an appropriate resin mixed with pigment or a dye.</p> |
