<p>PURPOSE: To prevent a rear field of view from being blocked by scattered light by providing a stoplight means near a rear window and providing a holographic scatter blocking means for blocking the scattered light of the stoplight from an area viewable by a driver. CONSTITUTION: In a rear window stoplight device, a holographic stoplight member 11 is supported on the rear window 13 of a vehicle. A scatter blocking holographic member 15 is fixed to a side which does not support the member 11. Thus, reproduced light is permitted to pass the holographic member 11 from a light source 17 provided in a front and upper part of the holographic member 11 and the light of the stoplight directed toward the rear part of the vehicle is generated from the member 11 so as to be opposed to the reproduced light. Then, the scattered reproduced light and the image of the stoplight are blocked and erased from the rear field of view of a driver by the scatter blocking holographic member 15.</p> |
