Sight direction detection arrangement - forms image of light reflected from eye on line sensor, corrects for individual dispersion

An arrangement for determining a sight direction contains a device for correcting the measured viewing direction on the basis of the difference between a visual and an optical axis of the eye. Light is projected onto the eye of the user and the image of the reflected light is formed on a light detection element. The sight direction is computed from the video signal of the light detection element. The detection element is a line sensor. USE/ADVANTAGE - The arrangement corrects for dispersion of the axial difference caused by individual scattering or decentralised contact lenses.
