<p>A circular knitting machine is provided with a cylinder cam assembly for the needles, and a dial cam for the sinker platines. The knitting cam segments are assembled on a support, which is anchored to the base by a quick release mechanism. - Pref., the cylinder with tricks holding the series of needles in a vertical position. The stem and butt align with the knitting cam. This is held to the segment by means of projecting studs through the face which in turn has an assembly arrangement. In the base, the projecting claw is at an angle, and this meets the linking claw at the corresp. upward angle of the linking claw in the segment. The linking claw is set in a screw tension mechanism. The shape of the claws is with a hook shaped face, which interlock when brough together from opposing directions. The screw and tension mechanism of the linking claw draws this upwards to clamp. The setting of the bolts attached to the claws does not permit them to turn.</p> |
