PURPOSE:To allow the parameters of timbres and sound volume to be controlled by a simple operation so that the intricate changes in timbre are obtd. and to increase the degree of freedom in sound creation without increasing the scale of the device by changing filter characteristics according to the change rate and change quantity of the filter characteristics. CONSTITUTION:The characteristics of a filter 7 are stored in a 1st memory means 5, the change quantity of the characteristics thereof as a relative value in a 2nd memory means 5 and the change rate until this change quantity is attained in a 3rd memory means 5, respectively. The set value is outputted from a setting means 1 and the characteristics of the filter are changed according to the change rate and change quantity if the value is set according to a key code by using the setting means 1. The control of the parameters of the timbres and sound volume is executed by the simple operation in this way without increasing the scale of the device, by which the intricate changes in timbre are obtd. and the degree of freedom in sound creation is increased. |
