摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce the output change of a sensor accompanied by the displacement of a diaphragm and to reproduce a proper tension degree by a method wherein an O-ring and a diaphragm are successively placed on the protruding inclined surface of a container so as to surround a positive electrode and fixed by an outer lid having a recessed inclined surface. CONSTITUTION:This sensor is constituted of a positive electrode 3 composed of a catalyst electrode effective for the electrochemical reducing reaction of oxygen, a negative electrode 6 composed of lead, a container 1 receiving an electrolyte 9 and the diaphragm 4 mounted to the outside of the container 1. The container 1 has the protruding conical shape centering around the positive electrode 3 and an O-ring 5 is provided to the inclined surface thereof so as to surround the positive electrode 3 and the diaphragm 4 is further provided thereon. Then, the diaphragm 4 is fixed by an outer lid 2 having a recessed inclined surface centering around its opening part larger than the positive electrode 3 and the container 1 so that the inclined surfaces of the outer lid 2 and the container 1 are opposed each other. The close contact state thereof becomes high as an angle of inclination and the collapse width of the ring 5 become large and, when said angle and collapse width are determined in the optimum state, the close contact state to the positive electrode 3 at the time of the replacement of the diaphragm 4 becomes constant and proper and its sealing becomes stronger.
