PURPOSE:To enhance the effect of radiation heat transmission, and also, to shorten the preheating process time by setting pressure in a vapor chamber in the preheating process higher than pressure in a sterilizing tank and a steam chamber in the sterilizing process, and bringing air in the sterilizing tank to convection forcibly. CONSTITUTION:Pressure of steam fed into a steam chamber 2 by opening a solenoid valve 4' is set to higher pressure than pressure at the time of sterilizing process, and the inside of the steam chamber 2 is maintained at a higher temperature than the time of the sterilizing process. Also, by operating a compressor 10, air is brought to pressure feed into a sterilizing tank 1, and by bringing air of the inside to convection forcibly, a convection heat transfer is quickened. After warming enough an object to the sterilized and the inside of the sterilizing tank by the preheating process, a vacuum process is executed, and after eliminating enough air in the sterilizing tank 1, the inside of the sterilizing tank 1 is filled with steam of high temperature and high pressure through a feed steam tube 31, the steam chamber 2 and a connecting tube 13. Thereafter, at the time point when the inside of the sterilizing tank 1 becomes a set sterilization temperature (pressure), the sterilization process is executed. |
