The vehicle power measurement and display arrangement for vehicles has a display device integrated into the instrument panel. Sensors measure the vehicle wt., speed, acceleration, deceleration, brake press., accelerator pedal press, or fuel feed rate, engine speed and gear ratio. These measured parameters are used to enable the acceleration or braking efficiency to be computed. The arrangement incorporates an electrooptical or electroacoustical warning device. USE/ADVANTAGE - Permanently installed system measures acceleration and deceleration and compares achieved values with those that can be achieved. In partic., it measures engine power not only depending on engine speed.
