PURPOSE:To easily generate a one-shot musical sound like a percussion only by playing a keyboard, etc., as usual by providing a means which outputs a key-OFF signal forcibly irrelevantly to the output timing of the key-OFF signal of a key information generating means. CONSTITUTION:This envelope waveform generator has the keyboard information generating means 1 which outputs a key-ON pulse (KONP) and a key-OFF pulse (KOFFP) according to the operation of the keyboard, a means 2 which receives the KONP and KOFFP and generates and outputs an envelope waveform, and an EG.KOFFP generating means 3 which measures the time from the KONP and then outputs the KOFFP forcibly after a time corresponding to a preset gate time set value. Then when the gate time set value is set previously, the key-OFF signal is outputted forcibly at the time corresponding to the gate time set value after the key-ON signal. Consequently, the one-shot musical sound can easily be generated like a percussion. |
