PURPOSE:To obtain a brush part wherein fine fibers are implanted with high density by connecting a required number of metal fiber fabric pieces in which each one end is loosened and only warps are remained on the whole circumference of a first holding ring layeredly, with each one end being projected from the inner or outer diameter, and connecting a second holding ring thereto for sandwiching. CONSTITUTION:A metal fabric wherein fine metal fibers made of hastelloy alloy are longitudinally and horizontally woven in cut into a form of strips to obtain fabric pieces 1 whose one end 1a is loosened and wefts are removed to remain only warps 2. A plurality of fabric pieces 1 are layered in a spiral form on the whole circumference of an inner end face of a flange 3 of a first holding ring 3 made of cobalt-based hastelloy alloy, with each end 1a thereof made up of only the warps 2 being projected from an inner diameter of the holding ring 3, and welded on the flange 3a. A second holding ring 4 is in close contact and connecting with the inner circumferential surface of a projected edge part 3b to sandwich the fabric part 1b of the fabric piece 1. A brush part with high implanting density and required thickness, and excellent in sealability is easily obtained. |
