<p>PURPOSE:To compact the device by arranging a rotor of an output member, an armature assembly, and an electromagnetic coil assembly in the axial direction with this order, and receiving them in the casing of electromagnetic coil assembly. CONSTITUTION:A rotor 18 of a rotating output member 2, an armature assembly 6, and an electromagnetic coil assembly 10 are arranged in the axial direction with this order, an electromagnetic coil 76 is received on the outer circumference of a coil spring 8 fittedly provided extending over the input boss 30 of a rotating input member 4 and the output boss 14 of the rotating output member 2, and covered with a casing 88. When the electromagnetic coil 76 is supplied with electric current, an armature 44 is magnetically attracted and sucked to the rotor 18 with high sucking speed. In this way, compactness of the device is realized, response speed at connection is improved, and deterioration of performance due to adhesion of dust and the like can be prevented.</p> |
