PURPOSE:To prepare the title polyester compsn. exhibiting excellent permanent antistatic properties with a small amt. compounded of an antistatic agent and having good moldability and spinnability by compounding a polyester with two antistatic agents, a polyoxyalkylene glycol and an alkali metal salt of a sulfonic acid, and a specific organosilicon compd. CONSTITUTION:The title antistatic polyester compsn. is prepd. by compounding: a polyester such as a polyethylene terephthalate; a polyoxyalkylene glycol with an average mol.wt. of 6000 or higher, pref. 10000 or higher, in an amt. of 0.5-5.0wt.% based on the acid component of the polyester; 0.5-5.0wt.% alkali metal salt of a sulfonic acid (e.g. sodium dodecylbenzenesolfonate) having no ester-forming capability; and 0.05-1.5wt.% silicone oil of the formula [wherein Rs are each H, methyl, or phenyl (esp. methyl), and may be the same or different; and n>1] pref. having a viscosity at 25 deg.C of 350-550cSt. |
