PURPOSE:To prepare the title compsn. having a high flexibility by compounding a compsn. comprising an ethylenic resin, a specific blowing agent, and a specific org. peroxide with an organopolysiloxane or polyether and an aliph. unsatd. silane. CONSTITUTION:A crosslinkable foaming compsn. is prepd. by compounding: 100 pts.wt ethylenic resin (e.g. an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer); 0.2-10 pts.wt. org. peroxide (e.g. dicumyl peroxide) having a 10min half-life temp. (Tp) of 100-220 deg.C; and 1-30 pts.wt. blowing agent (e.g. an azodicarbonamide blowing agent) having a blowing temp. (Tf) of 90-220 deg.C and satisfying the formula, -10 deg.C<=Tp-Tf<=50 deg.C. The crosslinkable foaming compsn. is then compounded with 0.01 pt.wt. or higher compd. selected from an organopolysiloxane and a polyether (e.g. silicone rubber stock) and 0.01 pt.wt. or higher aliph. unsatd. silane (e.g. vinyltrimethoxysilane), thus giving the title compsn. |
