PURPOSE:To prevent the member from slipping by largely deforming the both end parts than the central part of the clamping member and biting the saw- toothed part set at the both peripheral parts in the case of fixing the clamping member of U-letter cross section to the outer cover of the cable with using the calking tool. CONSTITUTION:The clamping member 10 is deformed only at its both end peripheral parts and its saw-toothed parts 14 are bitten in the outer cover 2. So, the central part is deformed comparatively little and the force to press the core wire 3 is also small. Because only the saw-toothed part 14 formed in jigzag type is bitten in the outer cover surface at the both end parts of the clamping member 10, and so the pressing force is not acted to the space between the adjacent saw-toothed parts and the space to escape for the inner core wire is provided. With this constitution the core wire is possible to be prevented from shearing at the calking time. Further if the clamping member moves the cable, the biting amount is increased more and the slipping is prevented. |
