PURPOSE:To obtain the title grain having excellent appearance, shelf stability, simplicity, etc., not exerting bad influence on taste by forming a coating film of curdlan on the surface of dried grain from water dispersion of curdlan heated to a specific temperature. CONSTITUTION:A coating film of curdlan is formed from water dispersion of curdlan (preferably <=2.5 wt.% curdlan concentration) heated to 50-70 deg.C on the surface of dried grain such as rice, wheat or peanut to give the objective grain. |
