<p>NEW MATERIAL:DNA containing a DNA coding a polypeptide having EAQ at N-terminal, consisting of 60 amino acids and expressed e.g. by formula. USE:Production of a polypeptide produced by cancer cell and utilizable for the investigation of the proliferation mechanism of cancer and the development of a remedy for cancer. PREPARATION:A cDNA is produced e.g. by culturing a cancer cell such as human mammary cancer cell MCF7, human gastric cancer cell MKN-45 or KATO-III in a medium, collecting the proliferated cells, extracting the whole RNA by guanidine-hot phenol process, etc., separating mRNA by oligo-dT cellulose column chromatography and using the mRNA as a template for the production of cDNA with a reverse transcriptase. A cDNA library is prepared from the cDNA by conventional method, E.coli is infected with the cDNA, the infected E.coli is screened to select a strain capable of producing polypeptide and the DNA is separated from the cell to obtain the objective DNA coding a polypeptide expressed by formula, etc.</p> |
