<p>PURPOSE:To realize an excellent picture processing circuit without giving load onto a picture generating circuit by generating a synchronizing signal converted differently from an external video signal and using the synchronizing signal for the picture generating circuit when a picture is moved on a monitor screen in a vertical/horizontal/oblique direction. CONSTITUTION:When a picture is moved in the vertical direction, a value (n) is set to 0 and inputted to a synchronization conversion circuit 5 and a converted horizontal synchronizing signal S8 is outputted as an external horizontal synchronizing signal S4. On the other hand, a converted vertical synchronizing signal S9 has (N+ or -m) lines in the horizontal synchronizing signals included for one period and inputted to a picture generating circuit 6, where the vertical movement of the picture is realized. When the picture is moved in the horizontal direction, a value (m) is set to 0 and inputted to the synchronization conversion circuit 5. Then converted horizontal and vertical synchronizing signals S8, S9 are generated from external horizontal vertical synchronizing signals S4, S5 and a reference clock S7.</p> |
