<p>PURPOSE: To keep good flatness and floor close contact even at a severe temperature and in temperature fluctuation by sticking a glass fiber nonwoven layer and a hydrophilic polypropyrene woven fabric layer to a pile fabric layer. CONSTITUTION: A carpet product 10 includes a pile fabric layer 20 formed by a primary backing woven fabric 22 of polypropyrene and a layer of a pile yarn 24 contacting the woven fabric. The pile yarn 24 is anchored by a polyurethane adhesive layer 26 applied to the back of the primary backing woven fabric 22 in such a manner as to wrap its loop back part 28. In order to obtain dimensional stability in the carpet product 10, a stabilizing layer 30 formed by glass fiber nonwoven fabric is stuck to the back 32 of the pile fabric layer 20. The upper surface 34 of the stabilizing layer 30 is stuck to the back 32 of the pile yarn 20 by the same layer 26 of an adhesive used for anchoring the pile yarn 24 to the primary backing woven fabric 22. A balancing woven fabric layer 40 is made adhere to the back 41 of the glass fiber stabilizing layer 30 by an elastic polyurethane adhesive 2.</p> |
