PURPOSE:To safely and efficiently wash the interior of a pipe and to miniaturize the whole by feeding high pressure water to a rotary jet nozzle under pressure from a high pressure water generator and allowing a sleigh to advance by a traction apparatus to move the same through the pipe while injecting high pressure water. CONSTITUTION:A high pressure water generator 2 and a hose reel 4 are arranged in the vicinity of the lower end part of a water pressure iron pipe 7 and a traction apparatus 5 is arranged in the vicinity of an intake sump 12 and washing units 1, 1 are introduced into the water pressure iron pipe 7 from the upper part thereof and a water feed hose 3 and a wire rope 6 are inserted in the pipe to be connected to each of the washing units 1, 1. Thereafter, high pressure water is fed to the rotary jet nozzles 8 of the washing units under pressure by the high pressure water generator through the hose reel 4 and the wire rope. By this method, the rotary jet nozzles rotate in the circumferential direction of the water pressure iron pipe 7 while inject high pressure water and the inner surface of the water pressure iron pipe is washed with high pressure water. In each of the washing units, the rotary jet nozzle is supported on a sleigh 14 by support members 16 whose heights are adjustable up and down in order to correspond to different pipe diameters and allowed to coincide with the center axis of the pipe. |
