<p>PURPOSE:To prevent paper sheet from being charred and burnt by sucking the paper sheet on the top plane of a paper sheet carrying belt unit part and permitting the distance between a sensor and the center of a puller roller to be shorter than the length of cassette paper in the running direction. CONSTITUTION:The top plane of the paper sheet carrying belt unit 8 is provided with a small hole, air flow 14 is sucked and the air pressure of a running path is permitted to be lower than the outside air pressure. The paper sheet 2 is always carried to the puller roller 9 side while being sucked to the unit 8 side. The light sensor 10 is brought close to a flash fixing device 7 side of a light shielding cover 11, which is adjacent to the flash fixing device 7. The sensor 10 decides its position so as to permit the distance D, which is the distance between the center of the roller 9 and the sensor 10, to satisfy D<L in order to supervise even when the paper sheet whose shortest length is L is used. Thus, even when the paper sheet is carried by being overlapped, the stop of the paper sheet is detected and the carrying is immediately stopped. Since the paper sheet 2 which is held on to the roller 9 moves in the exit direction, the paper sheet cannot be charred by the fixing device 7.</p> |
