PURPOSE:To enhance a close contact property of an electrode with an oxide superconductor and to reduce a contact resistance by forming the electrode, of a normal conductor, which is composed of the following: an Ag layer coming into contact with the oxide superconductor; and a layer, of a noble metal other than Ag, which is formed on the Ag layer. CONSTITUTION:An electrode of a normal conductor is of a two-layer structure of the following: an Ag layer 2 coming into contact with an oxide superconductor 1; and a layer 3, of a noble metal other than Ag, which is formed on the Ag layer 2. As the layer 3 of the noble metal, it is desirable to use a metal which is hard to oxidize such as Au, Pt or the like. A close contact property of the electrode of the normal conductor with the oxide superconductor 1 is good and a contact resistance of the electrode is small. Consequently, when the electrode is used for a superconducting device, a noise is reduced and a performance can be enhanced further. |
