PURPOSE:To harvest high-quality shiitake mushroom in large quantities by adding granules formed of powdery grains of rice, wheat flour or barley or total grains of corns or pulses or ground matter thereof into a culture medium as a part of nutrient source and then using it as a culture medium. CONSTITUTION:(A) At least one among granules (having 2-10 mm granule size) formed of powdery grains of rice, wheat, barley, corn, etc., or total grains of grains such as rich, wheat, barley, etc., or pulses such as soya bean, red bean, etc., or ground substance thereof (having 1-8 mm grain size), of 5-40 wt. % based on total culture medium is added to (B) sawdust and granules of grains such as rice bran and wheat bran to afford a culture medium having 50-70 wt. % water content. Shiitake mushroom is artificially cultured using the above- mentioned culture medium. |
