PURPOSE:To replace a battery without interrupting power supply by providing at least two battery mounting mechanisms and inserting a new battery prior to draw out of old battery thereafter drawing out the old battery. CONSTITUTION:A memo register 1 comprises a body 2 which comprises a liquid display, a control section and the like, and battery holder sections 3, 4 providing power supply therefor. The battery holder sections 3, 4 are connected in parallel with the body. In the practical operation as a memo register, any one of the battery holders 3, 4 is operated. Continuous power supply can be ensured by inserting a new battery into the battery holder section 4 prior to draw out of an old battery from the battery holder section 3. |
