<p>PURPOSE:To lower concentration of sulfur in a waste gas by clarifying the content of sulfur in coal and heightening respondency of load alteration while using set values of an air supply rate and coal supply rate, which are operational factors of a boiler, as absorbent supply rate for a desulfurization apparatus. CONSTITUTION:A flue gas desulfurization apparatus 8 in which a combustion waste gas 12 of a coal boiler 2 is brought into contact with an absorbent and the concentration of sulfur oxides in the combustion waste gas 12 is lowered is installed. Set values or measured values 20 of operational factors to control combustion conditions of the coal boiler 2 such as coal supply rate, air supply rate, etc. and a controlling signal 28 based on an analytical value 18 of the content of sulfur in coal 10 are used as a setting signal for an absorbent supply rate in the flue gas desulfurization apparatus 8. As a result, the desulfurization apparatus is controlled beforehand against load alteration of the boiler and variation of coal kinds and the sulfur concentration in the waste gas is lowered.</p> |
