This is a system which controls time-delayed illumination and which, at the end of the time delay, warns the user of the turning-off this illumination by reducing its intensity while keeping good enough visibility, for the duration of a second time delay; if an order is re-given before the end of this time delay, the illumination resumes, otherwise it turns itself off. Progressive lighting of the lamps is associated therewith. Use wherever illumination has to be controlled by a timer (stairways, corridors, etc.). <IMAGE>
