Process for the preparation of the superconductive phase Bi2Sr2Ca2Cu3O10 +/- delta ( delta This process is characterised in that it comprises the following stages: - a mixture based on elements constituting the said phase is melted; - the molten mixture is subjected to a quenching; - the quenched product originating from the preceding stage is oxidised by treatment at a temperature of between 800 and 840 DEG C; - the oxidation product is reheated at a temperature of at least 860 DEG C.
