PURPOSE:To control the distributions of charging materials at the furnace top in such a way as to meet the purposes of operations in a bell type charging method by dividing the ore charging after coke charging to the 1st and 2nd charging, and changing the dividing ratios of the rate of the 1st charging and the rate of the 2nd charging. CONSTITUTION:In a bell type charging method of a blast furnace, the dividing ratio of charging of ore is determined from the relation with the rate of flowing- in of coke by the falling impact of ore during charging of the ore. More spcifically, the rate of flowing-in of coke layers increases as the rate of charging of the ore increases. In accordance with this finding, the ore charging after the coke charging is divided to the 1st charging and the 2nd charging. Thereupon, the dividing ratio of the 1st charging and the 2nd charging is changed so that the distributions of the charging materials at the blast top are matched to the purpose of operations. |
