PURPOSE:To improve a processing speed by forming a control table in a screen buffer for storing a displaying text, storing a text to be newly displayed by processing in the control table and executing edition processing while referring the table. CONSTITUTION:A text to be displayed on the screen is extracted from a work buffer 7 storing the text transmitted from a host part 14, converted into a display format and stored in the screen buffer 5. The text stored in the buffer 5 is allowed to correspond to the position of the screen, an edited result is reflected to the text stored in the buffer 5, correspondence between the text changed by edition processing and the position of the screen is changed, and the contents of the buffer 5 are displayed on the screen. Consequently, the processing speed can be improved. |
